The Desire Path: Consumers are looking for instant gratification and are moving away from brands built on aspiration or status. Exhaustion is a prevalent emotion and delayed gratification is being replaced by the compulsion of the here and now.
The revolt against screens: Screens, once seen as infinite access to the world, are now perceived as a hostile space that steals time, attention and privacy. Consumers feel trapped in the digital space and seek a more controlled and positive use of it.
The AI fantasy: Artificial intelligence raises questions about human space and who dominates whom. Consumers are becoming more critical of the digital experiences offered by brands and are punishing impoverished experiences.
The home: perceived as a cost driver. Consumers are looking for tools and messages to help them better manage consumption in the home.
